Michael Jackson has been remembered in a star-studded tribute at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. One of the highlights was this moving performance of Jacko’s anthem for peace and change, “Heal the World.”
The song saw Michael Jackson’s family and celebrity performers, including Lionel Richie, Smokey Robinson, and Stevie Wonder, come together to celebrate Michael’s vision. This performance saw the generations come together, from Michael Jackson’s siblings Janet, Jermaine, and Tito to his three small children, Prince, Paris, and Blanket.
While MJ may have left us far too soon, surely powerful songs like this and his enduring hope for a better future are his greatest legacy.
